The American Humane Association, a 123-year-old nonprofit seeking to protect children and animals from abuse, is moving its headquarters from Colorado to Washington, D.C. Robin Ganzert, AHA president and CEO since Oct. 1, said she and approximately 20 people will work in the new national office, including Ganzert. About 80 staffers will remain in Englewood, Colo., and 50 will continue to work from the Los Angeles office.
